REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION
Plain answers on the 14 days, the 12-month term and how to cancel.
Your first 14 days
You have 14 days from your first payment to change your mind, no questions asked. Email hello@mishmishcover.com or reply to your welcome email. We refund the full amount to the card you paid with, usually within 5 working days, and the membership ends. No further payments are taken.
After 14 days
The 12-month term is binding, whether you pay monthly or annually. You can ask to cancel at any time: the membership ends at the end of the current term and no new term starts. Monthly contributions for the rest of the term are still due; an annual contribution is not refunded. If contributions stop early, the unpaid balance may be deducted from any grant the Fund makes.
If your cat dies or is rehomed during the term, email us. We look at every case personally.
Failed payments
If a card payment fails we retry it over the following days and email you each time. If every retry fails, the membership is suspended and requests are not considered until it is brought up to date. Once the missed contribution is paid, the membership carries on as before.
Renewal
Membership renews for another 12 months on the anniversary of your first payment. We email you 30 days before. To stop it renewing, email us before the renewal date. If you cancel after the renewal date, the new 12-month term applies.
Requests already in
A cancellation does not affect a request the Fund has already received; it is still considered under the Rules. Grants are paid to your bank account and are not set against contributions, except for any unpaid balance of the term.
How to cancel
Email hello@mishmishcover.com from the address on your membership, with your member number (it is on your certificate). We confirm in writing within 2 working days and tell you the date the membership ends and any refund due.
Before payments open
Payments open shortly. If you registered before they opened, no money has been taken and there is nothing to refund. You can withdraw your registration by emailing us, and we delete your details.
